Where are my keys ....
This is a quesion I ask ALOT!
My sweet hubby can tell you its a daily thing...
So where are my keys right now ? You ask ...
Not here..
I am sick of looking everywhere!
So where are your keys you ask ?
Right HERE!
Do you LOVE it! I know I do :)
Guess how much this bad boy was
FREEEEE!
I like the sound of that ... wait no I LOVE the sound of that ...
So Here is how I did it ...
See where I found the old piece of fence, right where alot of people think it might belong but not ME !
So I painted it ... well I kinda just slapped it on a little bit .. Not alot needed. I will be spray painting black over it and then distressing it ... I only did one side because it will be hung on the wall.
You know I thought about leaving it like this but then again I didn't want to ask
WHERE ARE MY KEYS? ....
So then I found some recycled containers and covered them with burlap and had my sweet hubby drill holes in the back of them so i could hang them :)
And then I hung them : ) but they need some thing, So I added numbers ... I should have put random numbers but then my 5 years would have not been happy plus there are 4 of us in the family :)
I love it ! Hope you had as much as I did... NOW go make one :) Let me know how it goes in the comments

I love having fresh flowers on the table but there are two things I don't like about them ..... 1. They die and when they die it makes a huge mess... 2. I cant see my husband on the other side of the table from me at dinner ....So while looking at the I cant afford you Pottery Barn website for ideas ... I want my whole house to look like that place :) Dream on sister!!!!!
Anyway.. I saw this ad and loved it... So I saved it like I always do in my I will copy for cheaper folder on my desktop and forgot about it till today....
So there I was soaking wet scrubbing the back door mat that the wonderful new puppy had tinkled on.... When BAM .. Just like that BAM !!! I saw the sad dead tree across the yard..
So I jumped up grabbed my camera and some pruning scissors. And this is what I made :)
Here is what you will need
tree branches ( free)
Rocks ( from my yard Free)
Vase ( free already had it )
hot glue
little flowers ( mine are from Dollar Tree 1.00)
So the total of this project
2.00!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHOOP!
I washed the rocks and put them in the vase
Then cut all the little flowers off but leaving a little bit of the green stem
So I would have something to glue to the tree branches with out burning my finger :)
Then I started gluing all the little flowers on the little parts of the stick that stuck out :) It takes some time but so worth it :)
Then BAM throw it in the vase and love it !
Thank you SO much for stopping by ... Coming up next How to make Homemade Tortillas :) Yummy

My DD loves to take and have pictures as much as I do.. I guess that is what you get when your mom is the photographer for Studio R Photos :) I even have my DS saying cheese for the camera or camera phone at 19 months old. I love it!!!!
So Back to my DD she needed something to put her pictures on but if you have a bulletin board that mean thumb tacks ... Um not ready for that with the baby still eating anything he can find on the floor..
So I made her this :)
You will need
1 Frame ( any size will do but the bigger the more it will hold)
1 old dish towel
hot glue gun and glue
paint
Ribbon
*fun things to dress it up if you want :)
Start by painting the frame how you want it ...
I wanted that old look so I just brushed a little here and there :)
With the raise detail it was easy to give it that rustic touch
Otherwise paint the frame and then let it sit for bit, then attack it with sand paper here and there ... it does not have to look perfect :)
With the guts of the picture frame whether it was a mat or some card board
hot glue the dish towel to it.. and again my fav thing it doesn't have to be perfect :)
After you have glued it cut the extra part of the dish towel off.
See mine was all messed up :P no one will ever see it ....
Then take your fabric and hot glue it over the dish towel ... pulling it tight as you go
Take the ribbon you have chosen and map out how you want it to lay ..
Then start gluing it on the underside ... this is the longest part of it all .. but it dose not have to perfect :)
I didn't trim the extra off I just glued it down
Once you have it how you want on the front
place it in the frame :) and put the back on the frame
You could leave it like this and just hang it like a normal frame or you can jazz it up :)
I wanna JAZZ it up :)
Have fun .... let me see yours if you make one .. Place a comment with a link to your picture:) Hope who ever you make your frame for loves it as much as my DD did :)

While moving into our new home, my husbands states in his "not to hurt your feeling voice" I don't like our front door wreath.... Oh OK. So you know what thats means, SHOPPING ! HA... And then I start to think I don't want the same as everyone I want a wreath that starts a conversation ( NOT that I have a hard time with this, If you any where near me and I have nothing to do... I will just start talking to you ) Any how... So off to blog world I go ..( Watch out its so much fun you end up starting one :) )
There were alot on wreaths this time of year, but one made my heart smile. Which by the way her whole blog made my heart smile.
Drum Roll Please
So in aw of hers here is my swing on things :)
Everything here is from Micheal's, And it all cost me less than $20.00
my DD picked out the bird :)
I love to spray paint ... it just so much fun! ( doing it inside of the trashcan lids saves your sidewalk and grass plus its up high so your not bending down WOO HOO )
Wait for the glue gun to get nice and hot or your thumb will hurt from squeezing so hard :)
Then glue glue and glue some more! Even have the kids help by ripping the moss apart. You really cant go wrong here:)
Glue all your little finds on the wreath and BAM! New wreath
And it took my about 30 mins
We have 4 people in our family so 4 eggs :)
DON'T FORGET TO CLEAN THE MESS! EEK
Happy crafting mom+ happy hubby+ happy door means
=
HAPPY HOME :)
Now let me see what you can come up with

Anyone can inspire and anyone can dream... by taking it one cup at a time. In my case, my cup is green. Whether its water or strong coffee. I enjoy creating, cooking and photography. I am a wife, a mother, a friend and a Christian loving life while I give you a peek along the way. Sit stay a while and have one cup while you do :)
